Our 2025 Fundraiser: The Longest Day
This year, we took on The Longest Day to support cancer research and the families affected by it. It’s a cause close to home and a chance for us to give back in a meaningful, practical way.
At AXJ Construction,
we don’t just build homes. We build healthy homes, strong communities, and great relationships. Giving back is part of our values, clear communication, practicality, affordability, and turning your dream into something real.
What we did:
- Took on the challenge at Mowbray Golf Club.
- Completing 90 holes meant pushing through five full rounds in a single day, clocking up more than 16 hours of nonstop swinging.
- Committed to finishing the entire challenge to raise funds, awareness, and support for families affected by cancer.
- Invited our community, partners, and clients to join us in giving back.
Why we did it:
- Cancer affects healthy homes and families alike; we wanted to make a difference.
- Supporting the cause reflects our commitment to quality, effective design, and practicality, not just in homes but in life.
- Giving back strengthens the relationships we value with our team, clients, and community.

Results:
With the help of our community, we raised $10,050 pushing well beyond our initial goals.
What began as a $2,500 goal quickly grew to $7,500 and after an incredible wave of support, we set our sights on $10k.
As small local building crew, this is something we’re extremely proud of.
